A Prayer for Your Finances (When It Is Tight)
Money is one of the most honest places to pray. This prayer is for the weeks the numbers are not adding up.
The prayer
Lord Jesus,
the bills came in this week and I do not know how they will be paid.
You fed a hillside from a boy's lunch. Take what I have and stretch it.
Send the work that is honest, and let me see it when it comes.
Give me the humility to ask for help, and not pretend I am fine.
Keep me generous even in a lean season.
Do not let money become my god.
Amen.
