A Prayer for Guidance (When You Have a Hard Decision to Make)
Sometimes you know what to do. Sometimes the two roads look the same in the dark. This prayer is for the second kind of day.
The prayer
Lord Jesus,
I have prayed about this for a while, and the answer is still not clear.
You said if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask, and it will be given.
I am asking.
Take my fear that the wrong choice will cost too much.
Take the voice in my head that keeps telling me to hurry.
Show me the next step, not the whole road. I trust you to show me the one after that when I
get there.
Amen.

- When you are lying awake with a "yes" or a "no" you cannot pick.
