People sometimes ask us if what we do is like Cameo - the site where a celebrity records a short personal video for you. The answer is no, in every part that matters. This is why.
What Cameo is
Cameo is a marketplace of celebrities who record short greetings by name. You pay the celebrity, they say the name, they say the birthday. The films are cheerful, short, and about the person being famous.
What we are
We are a small studio that makes short films in Jesus's voice, drawn from Scripture, made for one person, with their name in them. The films are not about us. They are about the person you are giving them to and the promise you want them to hear.
What we do that a Cameo cannot
- The voice is Jesus's, from our series. Not a celebrity trying to be sincere. A specific, consistent evening voice families recognise from our short films.
- We write the words for you if you want us to. Cameo is a script you send. Our writers can draft it in our own hand and let you approve every line.
- We remake it free if the name isn't right. Cameo cannot; you paid the celebrity, and they've moved on.
- We are cheaper. Our films start in the price of a card; a Cameo from anyone with a name is usually $50 to $500 for one line.
What Cameo does that we do not
- Their face and their voice. If the gift is that a specific actor said the person's name, Cameo is the site for that. We are not that.
