Bedtime Blessing vs. Lullaby Song (Which One a Child Will Ask For)
Both of these are made to end a child's day. The difference is whether the child hears words or music. This is a plain guide.

When to pick a bedtime blessing
- Your child is old enough to listen and take in the words.
- Your family says a blessing at the door before bed already.
- You want a keepsake to play the night before First Communion, a birthday, a hard day at school.
- You want the film to be short (under a minute).
When to pick a lullaby
- Your child is young enough that the melody is what will hold them.
- You want a song they will ask for again on the third night.
- You want a piece of music worth playing on a car ride, not only at bedtime.
- The gift is a new-baby gift and there is not much to bless yet - just to sing to.
